Let's get the painfully obvious out of the way. Your profile picture is everything. It's the tiny square the whole universe sees first. Using a blurry selfie from 2013 or, heaven forbid, the default gray silhouette? You're basically telling people not to bother. Pick something clear, recognizable, and tied to you. A good, professional-looking headshot if it's a personal page. A clean, simple logo if it's a business. And for the love of all that is good, set your profile and cover photos so they work together. Look like you put five minutes of thought into it.

This is where most pages get it dead wrong. You're posting for your audience, not for you. Here's a shocker: Facebook's algorithm loves content that makes people stop scrolling. Think about it. What makes *you* stop? A huge block of text you have to click "See More" on? No chance. A short, snappy video? A surprising photo? A simple question? You get the idea. Talk *with* people, not *at* them. Ask questions in the post itself. Use images. Actually, scratch that—use videos whenever you can. They get more eyeballs.
Posting your genius content when all your followers are asleep is a fantastic way to get zero reach. But I'm not going to give you a magic "best time to post." It doesn't exist. Your audience has its own habits. Here's the trick: go to your Page's "Professional Dashboard." Check the "Audience" tab. Scroll down. Facebook tells you, in plain English, when your followers are on the app. See those big blue bars on the graph? Post during those times. Simple as that. It's not rocket science, it's just paying attention to the data they hand you.
You post something. Someone comments. What now? You absolutely, positively MUST reply. And fast. This sends a massive signal to Facebook that your page is a living, breathing, *interesting* place. That algorithm wants to keep people on the platform. Engagement is its favorite snack. So be the host of the party. Reply with more than just "thanks." Ask a follow-up question. Use their name. Turn that one comment into a five-comment thread. Watch what happens to your post's visibility when you do.
Your page isn't just a feed. It's a toolbox. Completely fill out your "About" section. Make sure your website and contact info are right there. Use the "Action" button to link to a menu, a booking page, a shop—whatever you want people to DO. Set up a Services section if you offer them. Create Events if something's happening. These are all little doors that let people connect with you beyond just "liking" a post. The more complete and useful your page is, the more credible it looks. And credibility matters.
Okay, last one. You have to know what's working. Stop guessing. Click on your Page, then "Professional Dashboard" or "Insights." Look at your top posts from last week. What got the most reach? Was it a video? A photo? A link? Do more of that. See which posts got the most actual conversations in the comments. Do more of that too. Facebook's analytics are far from perfect, but they give you clues. Follow them. If something flopped, ask yourself why. Was it boring? Posted at a bad time? Wrong audience? Learn, tweak, and try again.
